Principe Valiente (formed 2005)
Principe Valeinte from Stockholm, Sweden has been around since 2005. Their musical style has been described as dark pop by the media, drawing comparisons to different post/punk- and shoegaze-indie-acts.
Their first EP was released in 2007 and it received fine reviews around the world. The band released its debut full-length, Principe Valiente, on February 2011 with German re-release on October 2011. This far the band has mostly played live in Sweden and Germany.
Their songs has rotated on radio stations and been played by DJ’s around Europe and in the
US. The band has also been much involved in the making of their music videos “The Night”
and “In My Arms”, which both has been shown on the pop10-charts on German television
and topped the list for several weeks.
Music from the debut album have appeared on different CD-compilations in Germany and will also appear on the soundtrack for a Canadian feature film with world premiere next year.
